Day 1

Arrive in Palermo

Make the first day soft and beautiful: unpack, find shade, and let the old city become familiar before asking much of anyone.

Travel plan

PMO to central Palermo, then stay walkable for the rest of the day.

Flight lands at 11:00, then taxi or airport train into town.
Morning

Land at Palermo airport at 11:00, collect bags, and go straight to the apartment or hotel.

Siesta

Nap, groceries, sunscreen reset, and a very small orientation walk only if everyone has energy.

Evening

Quattro Canti, Fontana Pretoria, a simple pasta dinner, and gelato close to home.

POIs on map

The first gelato becomes the official opening ceremony.

If the travel day bites back, make it a balcony or piazza dinner night.
